LJIC Graduate Laura Hahn
LJIC Trend Vision 2008 Grand Prize Winner!
Laura was offered a position with Beauty Brands in Des Moines before she graduated from La' James International College's Johnston Campus in April 2009. Starting full-time in May, she was only on guaranteed wage for three weeks until she hit the commission level. She feels Beauty Brands makes it fun and easy to build up your clientele as they offer over 10,000 products for customers. She has picked up numerous clients off of the retail floor by offering her professional advice.
"I'm a very determined and outgoing person. Since I'm new to Des Moines, I don't have the option of bringing in my friends and family for services; I'm not afraid of going out there and picking up new clients! Beauty Brands is a full salon and spa, which is great...I have numerous clients that I offer services to, not only in the salon, but also in the spa."
